Bob was there every step of the way to sell our home and purchase a new one. He is very professional, knowledgeable and organized. When we received 14 !! offers on our home, Bob put in the time to review every offer and explain our options to us. After every meeting and conversation, we always felt we were in good hands and on the same page. My Husband and I hired Bob to sell my dad’s townhome. We met with him in June to go over the plan on what needed to be done to get the townhome ready to sell. The process of getting it ready to sell took quite a while longer than anticipated. Bob had names and numbers of painters, cleaners, junk removal to help us through this. When it was time to finally put the townhome on the market, Bob was very confident that it would sell right away and that we would probably get more than our asking price. We got an offer on the first showing. Bob got us an offer of $35K over the asking price. Bob did an amazing job selling the townhome for us. We had lived in our home for fifty-six years, so we had not had any experience in selling a home. As novices, we could not have had a better realtor than Bob Onken. He was attentive to our every need and guided us with professional and timely help through all of the steps in getting ready to sell through to the actual sale. Bob kept in regular contact with us, just to find out how we were coming with the process, and preparing us for what to expect. Bob had a large network of individuals or companies he could recommend to help us through every stage from packing, cleaning, hauling junk, disposing of belongings to the actual moving, doing the (lifting and toting), but he was never pushy. He let us make our own decisions. He even offered his personal help in any way needed. I don’t think I believed a realtor would really do that, but on the day after the move, when we were at the then-empty house cleaning up after the move, Bob showed up and offered to help. He took the vacuum cleaner and vacuumed the entire house and swept the garage!
